| I love the idea behind this. It's so seldom that we see anything regarding Ralph McQuarrie's concept art for the original Star Wars. These figures are a great representation of what might have been. The differences between the concepts and the finals are mind-blowing. Leia was more like Han Solo with a smuggler's outfit and blaster. Ben Kenobi looked more like a traditional samurai! Boba Fett was pure white. Han Solo had a lightsaber! The stormtroopers had lightsabers! As figures, they're also fun. They all have incredible detail. I particularly like the snowtrooper's dirty look. Definitely some of the most unique Star Wars figures around. |
