Detailed, Movie-Accurate Design
The most iconic vessel in the Star Wars universe, the smuggler Han Solo won the Millennium Falcon from fellow rogue Lando Calrissian in a game of sabacc. Every detail of this famous, modified Corellian Engineering Corporation YT-1300 freighter is packed into this model, which is constructed to scale. LEGO mini-figures of Han Solo, Chewbacca, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, and Princess Leia Organa are included, so you can really replay your favorite scenes. Start off by testing your skills as a pilot and see if you can navigate the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs, the way Han Solo claims to. Later, you'll want to stage an attack on the dangerous Death Star.

Huge, spectacular, and movie-accurate, the Millennium Falcon is the ultimate center piece of any Star Wars or Lego collection. When completed, this model is over 33-inches long, 22-inches wide, and eight-inches tall. Rotating top- and bottom-mounted quad-laser turrets, a radar dish that rotates and can be elevated, and a boarding ramp that can be extended are just some of the cool features included in this model. You can seat a crew of four mini-figures at the controls in the removable cockpit. And landing gear provides a stable base for model to stand on.

Building Your Own Millennium Falcon
With 5,196 Lego pieces, the Millennium Falcon took more than 50 hours to construct. Split between two adult builders and several days, these hours provided a fun time to chat and reminisce about favorite Star Wars moments. We imagine that having the original trilogy playing in the background might have motivated us to construct this starship even faster.

A huge percentage of the pieces come in shades of gray, and approaching construction requires a bit of organization and discipline. This means that building the Millennium Falcon is not a project for the faint of heart, but detailed, step-by-step instructions help ensure that construction is a relatively straightforward process, despite the complexity of the finished model. Once it's built, the Millennium Falcon is sure to inspire awe all around. Collector's will appreciate the display card that allows them to show off ship specs with the model.

What's in the Box
5,195 Lego pieces, instruction booklets, and a collector's display card.

A Magnificent Monstrosity

I don't understand the other reviewers. They 'love' this set...but then only give it four stars? Very strange. Make no mistake, it is AWESOME. The box is huge, it has dozens of bags inside with thousands of parts and the bound instruction book itself weighs several pounds. It will take an average person 20 to 30 hours to put together. Probably much more if you are helping a child. Every section is painstakingly accurate and detailed. Once finished it is far too big and heavy to 'play' with, you simply have to admire it from many angles. Even from below it is ridiculously detailed. It is the centerpiece of my guest-room (after spending too long in the living-room, according to my wife) and every time I look at it I want to tear it down and start again, it was so much fun for me...maybe next time I have a week to kill? FIVE STARS!!!!!
Long but worthwhile

I think that anyone seriously considering getting this doesn't really need to read a review. It's lego and it's the Millennium Falcon what more needs to be said. It is BIG! It took us about 4 days over Christmas to build it so be prepared to not see the finished thing quickly, but it is worth the wait. Just make sure that you have somewhere to put it after you are done, because as I mentioned, it is big.
A gift for my dad

My dad is a lego collector. I got him this when he came to visit me. He was absolutely overjoyed. I haven't built it myself but I can tell you that any lego collector would be over joyed with this as a gift.
Fantastic LEGO Set!

This LEGO set is large. I mean it comes in a box bigger than my luggage. The pieces are separated into quite a few bags with no labels so you will need to come to the table with your own organizational skills.

I really enjoyed all the little details including the fact that it is scale to the minifigures. I have been building LEGOs since I was a toddler in the early 1980s and this is hands down the most enjoyable set to build and play with.

I recommend this to any fan of LEGOs and/or Star Wars.
Life Changing

I Got this, and then realize, I have nowhere to build it at. So I got to work on remolding an extra outside room at my house, still haven't finished. Then my brother moves out, so now I can remodel my room and build it in there.

Truly a life changing project. It has opened a door way for me to have other hobbies as well. The room that I was remodeling for this Lego project is now going to be an exercise room. Thus, this product may help me to get buff. How cool is that?!?

Hopefully, some time this summer (after comic-con) I will get to work on this ship(after I remodel my room (after I finish the first room I was remodeling (after I get a new job (after I apply for a job (after I finishing writing reviews for tons of amazon purchases.)))))

This is going to be great fun!!!
